What is the minimum length of time I can rent the equipment?
The minimum rental period for all rental equipment is 1 month. After the first month, you are eligible for weekly add-on pricing. You may also add additional rental months.

Do you accept insurance as payment?
MALS Medical Equipment, LLC does not accept insurance as payment. You will be responsible for full payment
Notice to Medicare Beneficiaries
Medicare will pay for medical equipment only when purchased from an approved Medicare supplier. MALS Medical Equipment, LLC is not an approved Medicare supplier and Medicare will not pay for any medical equipment we sell or rent to you. You will be responsible for full payment.
What types of payment do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal.
Do I have to pay the full rental amount up front, or do you bill me for ongoing rental costs?
For rental equipment, the first month's rental and any applicable fees (i.e., Standard Delivery charges) is due at the time you receive the equipment. To arrange payment for long-term rentals, contact Steve at 816.853.6904.
Will you deliver to my house?
MALS Medical Equipment, LLC delivers directly to your home. We will set up the equipment and educate you and your family when needed.
Standard delivery covers a 25-mile radius from Platte City and includes most areas north of Kansas City including: North Kansas City, Gladstone, Parkville, Liberty, Kearney, Smithville, Holt, Plattsburg, Edgerton, Gower, Camden Point, Dearborn, Weston, and Faucett. Not all areas within service area are listed.

What if I live outside of your Standard Delivery area - can I make special arrangements?
Extended delivery can be arranged for an additional fee.
Can I pick up the equipment?
Equipment may also be picked up at our Platte City location by appointment. To arrange for pickup, contact Steve at 816.853.6904.
What if I need to return the equipment I purchased or rented?
MALS inspects that all equipment is in complete working order on purchases and rentals. If there are any issues with the quality of the equipment, MALS will replace it. MALS does not provide refunds on purchases.
Rentals have a minimum rental period of 30 days. Monthly rental payments beyond the first month will be charged per the rental agreement. If the equipment is returned before the end of the next month, a refund based on the weekly rental rates in the rental agreement will be issued using the same payment method/type. All equipment must be returned in the same condition in which it was received.
